Please pass on these manuals to the new owner if you sell the appliance. Before installation Transport damage Check the appliance for damage after unpacking it. Do not connect the appliance if it has been damaged in transport.

    Status bar The status bar is located at the top of the display. It shows the clock, the selected operating mode, information and the time setting options that have been set. Setting areas The two settings areas show suggested values that you can change.

    During the heat up phase, you can check the current heating temperature using the i button. Thermal inertia may cause the temperature displayed to vary slightly from the actual temperature in the cooking compartment. Residual heat When the oven is switched off, the temperature control displays the residual heat in the cooking compartment.

    Memory The Memory function gives you the option to store programmes and call them up again at the touch of a button. You can store six programmes in the memory. The Memory function is useful for dishes that you prepare particularly often. Storing settings in the memory Exception: Self cleaning cannot be stored.

    Sabbath mode This setting maintains a temperature of 85 ºC in the oven with top/bottom heating. You can set a cooking time of 24 to 73 hours. During this time, food in the cooking compartment will remain warm without you having to switch the oven on or off.

    Automatic switch off Your oven has an automatic switch off function. It is activated if no cooking time is set and the settings have not been changed for a long time.     Self cleaning During self cleaning, the cooking compartment is heated to approx. 480 ºC. Any food residues from roasting, grilling and baking are burnt to ash. Self cleaning takes approx. 2 hours, including the heating up and cooling down times. Preparation Take any unsuitable accessories and all cookware out of the oven.

    Heat resistant special enamel and shiny items used in the oven may become matt or discoloured over time. This is normal and does not affect their function. Do not use coarse scouring pads or strong cleaning agents to remove such discolouration. Important notes For safety reasons, the oven door locks automatically.
