Components indicated by mark in the parts WARNING: list and the schematic diagram designate compo- The chassis of this projector is isolated (COLD) from nents in which safety can be of special significance.

    Protections This projector is equipped with the following protections to operate in safety. If the abnormality occurs inside the projector, it will automatically turn off by operating one of the following protection circuits. Circuit Protection Fuse The fuse is located inside of the projector. When either the LAMP indicator or the READY indicator is not illuminated, the fuse may be opened.
  • Page 5 Optical Protection - Thermal switch There is the thermal switch (SW905) inside of the projector to prevent the internal temperature from rising abnormally.   • Page 6: Lamp Replacement

    LAMP REPLACEMENT When the life of the Lamp of this projector draws to an end, the LAMP REPLACEMENT indicator lights yellow. When the image becomes dark or the color of the image becomes unnatural, replacement of the Lamp is required. CAUTION For continued safety, replace with a lamp assembly of the same type.

    Mechanical Disassemblies 1. Remove 1 screw-A. 2. Pull the foot. (arrow-1) Adjustable-Feet and Cabinet-front- 3. Pull the foot,(arrow-2) and remove. A Removal 4. Remove the other foot in the same way. 5. Remove 2 screws-B. 6. Push the button and pull the Cabinet-front-A (arrow-3) and remove.
  • Page 8 Cabinet-front Removal. 1. Remove 2 screws on side and 2 screws on bottom. 2. Grasp the two sides, pull the cabi- net-front forward and remove. Ass'y-Main Removal. 1. Remove 11 screws and disconnect the FPC cables etc. and then remove the ass'y main.
