Menu Setting Procedures 1. CLOCK SET This sets the unit clock to the current time. Please be sure to set the correct time. Select “Day/Month/Year Hour/Minute” on the pull-down menu on the screen. Menu Setting Procedures 4. RECORDING AREA SET The hard disk in this unit consists of three independent recording areas, each of which has five recording modes. Firstly, a percentage of the total capacity is allocated to each recording area (settings are in units of 1%). -

Menu Setting Procedures AUDIO RECORDING (default setting: OFF) Audio can also be recorded at the same time in the normal recording area. However, when audio is recorded, since the audio data is recorded in the normal recording area, the recording capacity of the normal recording area will be reduced. -

Recording an Image This unit will record an image or an alarm on the internal hard disk by the specified method while the image is being viewed. For recording, the necessary menu settings should be made beforehand to suit the installation environment. -
Page 31: Pre-Alarm Recording
Recording an Image Pre-alarm recording This function is complementary to alarm recording. When pre- alarm recording has been set beforehand, not only will the same image be recorded normally in the normal recording area but also in the “alarm recording area”. This means that a certain period of the latest image will always be saved in the alarm recording area, enabling the image immediately before the alarm to be seen when the alarm recording is played back. -

Search Mode Each of the three recording areas has independent search mode functions. Since there are five search modes from the recording areas and image search patterns, click the L L button on the operating panel and select a search mode from the search menu.
