Component replacement procedures To remove and replace computer components, use these procedures.

    Close the computer and position it upside down, with the front toward you. Insert a tool with no sharp edges between the base enclosure and one end of the rubber feet. Peel the feet off the computer. To install the rubber feet, refit them on the adhesive backing. NOTE: The bottoms of the computer feet are ribbed.

    Remove the four Phillips M2.5 × 6.0 screws (1) in the feet area, and the two Phillips M2.5 × 4.0 screws (2) in the front part of the bottom cover.
