Hicom 150 E Office You can use your telephone to access the functions of the Hicom 150 E Office communication system via codes. Symbols Symbol Meaning Lift the handset (off-hook). Speak. Replace the handset (on-hook). Press the specified keys. Press the consultation hold key, signal key, flash key (not applicable to pulse telephones).
Answering Calls Your telephone rings Lift the handset. Speak. Making Calls Lift the handset. Internal: Dial the station number. External: Dial the external code and external number. Reserve Trunk Lift the handset. Dial the external code and external number. If configured, you can wait five seconds, until the busy signal stops, when an external line is busy and thus reserve this line for yourself.
Consultation Hold Initiating consultation hold (you are conducting a call) Press the key. Dial the number of the other party (internal/ Æ external dialing Conduct a consultation call (the first call is on hold. Ending consultation hold Press the key. Enter the code 0 or wait 2 seconds.
